What can I expect as I start my career at BS&P?
You’ll feel supported from day one. Every new team member participates in a comprehensive onboarding program that includes one-on-one training with an experienced accountant. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to tax and audit engagements while getting comfortable with our systems, processes and tools.
Beyond onboarding, you’ll experience:
- Career Development Program: We partner with you to build your path. You’ll have access to tools, programs, and experiences that support growth, while you take ownership of your career trajectory.
- Big Brother/Sister Mentorship: You’ll be paired with a “Big Brother or Sister”—someone who’s been exactly where you are and can help you navigate your first weeks, answer questions and provide guidance as you settle in.
- Continuous Feedback: You’ll receive timely, engagement-based feedback to help you learn quickly and keep moving forward.
- CPA Exam Support: We contribute toward CPA exam costs and review courses, along with paid time off to take the exam!
- Growth-Oriented Work: We want people to build long-term careers at BS&P, from entry level to partner. Diverse client work offers exposure to a broad mix of opportunities to build your expertise. You’ll start by working on both tax and audit engagements, and we’ll help you narrow your focus from there. All team members get exposure to International tax work as well.
- Continuing Education (CPE): We host in-house CPE and encourage everyone, not just CPAs, to deepen their skills and stay current with industry trends.
What’s tax season really like at BS&P?
Tax season is busy (we won’t sugarcoat it) but we do everything we can to make it manageable, rewarding and even (dare we say) enjoyable. Here’s what you can expect:

What’s it like working in Larkinville?
Our office sits in the historic Larkin Building, home to a variety of convenient onsite perks, including a gym, daycare, café, bank, salon and dry cleaning services. Right outside is Larkin Square, a hub of free community programming. From Food Truck Tuesdays to the Live at Larkin concert series, there’s always something happening just steps away from our door. It’s a lively, energetic neighborhood that our team loves.
