As part of our commitment to quality, we have voluntarily submitted to peer reviews since 1981. Peer review is a program dedicated to ensuring that participating firms have quality control systems in place over their accounting and auditing practice. Tri-annually, a team of experienced CPAs from other CPA firms conducts a formal on-site review of our audit practices and procedures by reviewing engagement working papers.

Our most recent peer review, which was conducted in December 2023, once again, concluded with a peer review rating of pass. A rating of pass is the highest degree of competence acknowledged under the program. We have been recognized at this level of competence over the course of our last fourteen peer reviews. This degree of consistency has rarely been attained by firms of our size, and we are immensely gratified by this recognition of excellence by our peers. A copy of the report can be found here.
During a peer review, the following is assessed:
- The consistency and effectiveness of the firm’s policies and procedures over its system for performing accounting and auditing accounting engagements
- The quality of documentation and performance of a sample of the firm’s accounting and auditing engagements
- The integrity, qualifications and current knowledge levels of the firm’s management and staff
